These beautiful planters are from jayson home and garden, based in Chicago. I love the structure of these planters, especially the tall switchgrass and perfectly reclining ferns. So much love for them!

we just had a glut of fresh blackberries and apples so I had to try this recipe by lena corwin which she so kindly shared here. Mine was nowhere near as aesthetically pleasing as this, but it was delicious, even if those apples we picked were a little tough-skinned.

One of our favourite places in Galway is Charlie Byrne's Bookshop where I found this amazing little book: Mother Goose in Hieroglyphics.




I also picked up an old copy of an Irish visual culture magazine called Circa:
