we just had a glut of fresh blackberries and apples so I had to try this recipe by lena corwin which she so kindly shared here. Mine was nowhere near as aesthetically pleasing as this, but it was delicious, even if those apples we picked were a little tough-skinned.

Galways has a certain smell. It might be damp, but a nice cozy damp.
