potatos and paint

We had some old sprouting potatoes so i thought i'd do some good old-fashioned printing. It was so much fun, but old potatoes do smell a bit. I'm a sucker for hand-stamped fabric, especially washed-out, watery prints. The textured surface of a potato prints a perfectly uneven pattern.
